Sebastien Corbeil,

President and CEO

Mr. Corbeil has over 20 years of extensive international business experience. Prior to joining CelluForce, he held several leadership positions with the SUEZ Group in Europe where he developed original products, launched new business units and helped to reposition ailing companies. He returned to Canada in 2013 and served as Vice-President for EnGlobe Corp, spearheading a major acquisition project.

Mr. Corbeil began his career as a research engineer in Pulp and Paper with industrial gas giant Air Liquide in Chicago. He has a bachelor's and a master's degree in chemical engineering from McGill University in Montreal, Canada as well as a MBA from DePaul University in Chicago, USA.

Dr. Berry has been leading the development of NCCTM since the early 2000s and is a world-renowned expert in the field. He has numerous scientific accomplishments and vast experience overseeing the industrial application of his many inventions. He received NanoQuébec's prestigious 2009 Nano-Industry Award for his exceptional contribution to the development of NanoCrystalline Cellulose, as well as the 2014 TAPPI NanoDivision Technical Award. In addition to holding twenty four patents, his work has been published in more than a hundred articles and in two monographs.

Dr. Berry received a Bachelor of Arts degree in chemistry and geology from Keele University in Staffordshire, England in 1975. In 1980, he earned a Ph.D. in chemistry from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.

Denis Arguin has over 30 years of experience in process engineering, operations and new technology start-up. He held various positions in this and most notably as VP Engineering & Operations at Technologies Orbite Inc, VP Strategic and Technological Business Development at Enerkem, Director of Process Technology at Minerals Technologies Inc. (MTI) in Pennsylvania (USA), and Director of European Operations for a division of MTI, based in Brussels. He has also held operational positions at Mintech Canada Inc. and in petrochemical companies such as Kemtec, Union Carbide, and Gulf Oil Refinery Ltd.

Mr. Arguin holds an Executive MBA in Operations Management from the University of Western Ontario, and a Bachelor’s Degree (B.Science) in Chemical Engineering from Université de Sherbrooke. He has been a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec since 1984.

Hélène Bergeron has over 25 years of experience in finance and accounting. Mrs. Bergeron has a broad experience in business process development and implementation, business case analysis and project evaluation. Before joining CelluForce, she was responsible for finance planning and business processes at Domtar. Prior to Domtar, she was responsible for finance transformation at BRP. She started her career at IBM and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Sherbrooke University.

Antoine Charbonneau is a self-motivated and entrepreneurial sales executive with over 16 years of experience in high-value technology business development. His areas of expertise include: strategy, business development, strategic marketing, negotiation and sales management across Canada, the United States and internationally.

Mr. Charbonneau holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering degree from McGill University, a Master’s in Industrial Engineering from the École Polytechnique de Montréal, and an MBA from Université du Québec à Montréal. He has also earned a Graduate Certificate in Administration and Management from Harvard University, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Management Accounting from Concordia University. He is a member of the Quebec Order of Engineers and of the Quebec Order of Chartered Professional Accountants.

Patrick Loulou has been Domtar's Senior Vice President, Corporate Development since March 2007. Previously, he held a number of positions in the telecommunications and management consulting sectors. He has several years of experience in corporate strategy and business development. Mr. Loulou is responsible for new business developments, corporate strategy, and mergers and acquisitions.

Iain Cooper has 23 years of experience within Schlumberger in a range of technical and managerial positions. As well as founding and managing the company’s Corporate Venturing activity, he oversees relationships with major external technology companies. Previously, he was Global Product Development Manager for Well Services, and Research Director for Drilling and Completions. Iain is the co-author of the textbook on 'Advanced Drilling & Well Technology", and holds 26 granted US patents.

Mr. DeAndrea has management oversight and responsibility for Domtar’s BioMaterials business which includes advanced fiber, lignin, pine chemicals, hydrocarbons, and other products derived from wood sugars. Mark has over 25 years of international management experience. His background includes bio-refining, renewable energy, and technology. Prior to joining Domtar, Mr. DeAndrea was a partner at PrairieGold (PG), a private equity firm focused on renewable energy and bio-refining technologies. Prior to PG, Mark was Senior Vice President of Strategic Development for POET, one of the world’s largest ethanol producers. Prior to POET, Mr. DeAndrea held various senior management positions with international investment banks including RBC Capital and PricewaterhouseCoopers Securities.

Chief Financial and Human Resources Officer FPInnovations

Since becoming CFO over a year ago, Yves Nadon has joined the ranks of the FPInnovations’ corporate officers. He has played an instrumental role in the strategic development of the company, which was created from the merger of three Canadian national institutes in the forest sector and the Canadian Wood Fibre Centre (within Natural Resources Canada's Canadian Forest Service). As well as overseeing the day-to-day financial management of the organization within its Executive Committee and Board of Directors, he is also chair of the Employee Pension Plan Committee and a member of the Corporate Investment Planning Committee.

He has worked in and managed diverse areas such as manufacturing, R&D, innovation, corporate services, organizational communications, finance and accounting. Mr. Nadon is a 2002 graduate of Concordia University's John Molson School of Business.

Chris Kanters currently holds the position of National Director, Intellectual Property and Commercialization for FPInnovations. He is responsible for the company`s strategic membership recruitment, strategic research alliances, intellectual property and commercialization activities. Chris has more than twenty five years of experience in R&D and commercialization within the chemical and forest industries. Prior to FPInnovations, he worked for C-I-L Inc., ICI Canada Inc. and Pioneer.

Chris graduated with Honours from the University of Waterloo with a BSC in Applied Chemistry and has an MBA from the York University`s Schulich School of Business, in Toronto.

Vinicius Nonino is Head of Strategy and Mergers and Acquisitions at Fibria Celulose S.A. Over the past 20 years, he has occupied a number of senior positions in chemical, management consulting and forestry businesses.

Mr. Nonino worked with the Votorantim Group (one of the major industrial groups in Brazil and one of the major shareholders of Fibria) for over 10 years. He has been with Fibria since 2007, where he played a leading role in the integration of VCP and Aracruz, forming the largest pulp player in the world.

He now leads Fibria´s efforts to define and implement its bio business platform. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Ensyn Corporation, a Canadian biofuels and biochemicals company, with which Fibria established a Joint Venture in 2012, to explore the RTP pyrolysis technology in Brazil.

Mr Nonino received his BA from Fundação Getúlio Vargas, the most prestigious business school in Latin America and holds an MBA from New York University.
