Celluforce welcomes Antoine Charbonneau as Vice-President, Business Development and Dr. Sassan Hojabr as Technical Development Manager

Celluforce is pleased to announce two additions to the company’s team to support its growth and the development of Cellulose NanoCrystals applications with industrial partners.

Antoine Charbonneau is Vice-President, Business Development effective July 7th, 2016 and Dr. Sassan Hojabr is Technical Development Manager effective June 27th, 2016.

Mr. Charbonneau has worked for a number of high tech companies and has over 16 years of experience. His areas of expertise include: strategy, business development, strategic marketing, negotiation and sales management across Canada, the United States and internationally.

Mr Charbonneau holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from McGill University, a Master’s in Industrial Engineering from the École Polytechnique de Montréal, and an MBA from Université du Québec à Montréal.  He has also earned a Graduate Certificate in Administration and Management from Harvard University, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Management Accounting from Concordia University. He is a member of the Quebec Order of Engineers and of the Quebec Order of Chartered Professional Accountants.

Dr. Hojabr has over 25 years of research and development experience with major Industrial companies, most recently with DuPont Canada. He is holder of multiple patents in the areas of polymer modification, bio-fiber composites and thermoplastic adhesive formulations. His experience extends to the use of coupling agents in polymer composites including their effectiveness with Cellulose NanoCrystals.

Dr. Hojabr received his Bachelor and Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from McGill University. After working in Industry for three years, he returned to complete his Ph.D. thesis on reactive extrusion at Queen´s University in Kingston, Ontario.
